Syracuse, NY - Reverend Clarke, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and founder of SyrPeer, Inc., a non-profit organization that focused on providing support, guidance, and inspiration to those struggling with addiction and mental health issues. As the founder of SyrPeer, Inc., Reverend Clarke was dedicated to using his own recovery story to inspire hope and resilience in others.
Reverend Clarke was ordained in April of 2021 and has since completed state training for NYCPS and FPA credentialing, holding an FPA Credential until April of 2022. Additionally, he has recently completed his Integrated Mental Health Addictions Treatment Training (IMHATT) Certificate, as well as the SP-TIE: Foundations of Suicide Management training.
Through the blog "Syracuse Peer Ministries," Reverend Clarke will be providing online sermons aimed at inspiring and empowering individuals to find hope and healing on their journey toward recovery. As someone who has struggled with addiction and mental health issues, Reverend Clarke is uniquely positioned to provide guidance and support to others who may be experiencing similar challenges.
Speaking about his motivation for founding SyrPeer, Inc., Reverend Clarke said, "I know first-hand how difficult it can be to navigate the challenges of addiction and mental health issues. Through SyrPeer, Inc., I hope to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can find the inspiration and guidance they need to overcome these challenges and live a healthy, fulfilling life."
